It is possible to follow the family on this farm back to the 1600s. But
for this note we only go back to the 1750s. Their main occupation were farming,
and some fishing. As you also may notice there was a strong connection between
the two neighboring farms, Risa 2 and Bø (1), compared to marriage. Both were rather big and
wealthy, and like to keep it in the families.
